Personalized Travel, Powered by Tripian’s Nested Artificial Intelligence

Some of the best validation of a technology comes from where it ends up embedded. For Tripian, that includes Visa’s new Digital Trip Planner, a benefit built to turn a Visa card into a passport for personalized travel, wherever in the world a cardholder decides to go.

Reported by Brazilian outlets Mercado & Eventos and Pontos pra Voar, the Digital Trip Planner was developed in partnership with Tripian, and it shows what our AI does best: take a traveler’s budget, style, and interests, and turn them into a day-by-day itinerary across more than 500 destinations worldwide, with hundreds of thousands of bookable experiences spanning tours, attractions, dining, and more. It keeps working after the trip starts too, adjusting plans in real time as travelers explore

That global destination breadth is the point. Whether a cardholder is mapping a weekend in Lisbon, a food crawl through Osaka, or a family trip through South America, the same personalization engine is doing the work behind the scenes.

Today, the benefit is live for Visa Platinum, Signature, and Infinite cardholders in Brazil, accessible via the Visa Benefits Portal in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. It’s a milestone we’re proud to be part of, and we’ll let Visa and the press who’ve covered it speak to the details:

Every travel platform’s 2026 roadmap has a line that reads something like AI-powered personalization or in-destination recommendations. Almost none of them have a line that reads in-destination infrastructure. That is the gap. Personalization has been treated, structurally, as a feature.…
